District Administrator Larry Mazzuca Retiring

After 43 years in the Parks and Recreation profession, our District Administrator is retiring! Larry has spent the last nine years with NHRPD and has continued to improve the District by managing multiple projects such as the ADA Transition Plan, Districts Park & Recreation Master Plan, helping improve 6 playground structures, starting the process of our newest park, Sierra Creek and so many others. NHRPD Staff want to thank Larry for his dedication to the District and for leaving a lasting impact.

North Highlands Narrative

“North Highlands Narrative” is a citizen award program sponsored by the North Highlands Recreation and Park District. Its purpose is to shine light on our everyday citizens and local organizations that make a positive impact within the community through acts of service or events.

On a quarterly basis awards are given to citizens or community groups residing within NHRPD’s District for their outstanding contributions to the community. Please consider taking the time to recognize and nominate an individual or group whose contributions make North Highlands a better place to live.

Know someone you can nominate? Visit our website at www.nhrpd.org/north-highlands-narrative to fill out the Nomination Form today! Deadline to submit for the Winter 2023 season is October 16th.
