Community News
Updates to Karl Rosario Park!
Karl Rosario Park now features a brand-new playground with updated play equipment, bright colors that complement the park’s mural, shaded swings, and adult fitness equipment—creating more opportunities for fun, movement, and connection for visitors of all ages.
Freedom Park Renovated with the help of ARPA!
Freedom Park has also received exciting playground enhancements made possible through American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding provided by Sacramento County. New swings and climbable play features add even more ways for children to explore, stay active, and enjoy outdoor play.
Splash Pad Changes
After Labor Day, September 7th, the Splash Pad will only operate on the weekends. The Splash Pad will close at the end of September.
Freedom Park Pavilion Rentals
Freedom Park Pavilion rentals are available! Picnic sites are available to rent Sunday - Saturday through October. This location is excellent for a birthday party, family reunion, company picnic, or any social event that calls for some fun in the park.
