Planehaven Park

North Highlands Recreation & Park District has secured funding through American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) to build a new playground at Planehaven Park! Help us plan the new vision of the park by participating in surveys, and enjoy family friendly crafts and games at our “Plan Out Planehaven” Park Spotlight event on March 23 from 10:00am – 12:00pm.

Scholarship Program Feedback Survey

The district is reevaluating our scholarship program to adapt to our community needs. Please complete this short, 2-minute survey or attend our next board meeting on March 14 at 6:30pm at the Recreation Center (6040 Watt Ave.) to provide feedback.

North Highlands Narrative

North Highlands Narrative is a citizen award program sponsored by the North Highlands Recreation and Park District. Its purpose is to shine light on our everyday citizens and local organizations that make a positive impact within the community through acts of service or events.

On a quarterly basis awards are given to citizens or community groups residing within NHRPD’s District for their outstanding contributions to the community. Please consider taking the time to recognize and nominate an individual or group whose contributions make North Highlands a better place to live.

Do you know someone that should be nominated? Submit your nomination by April 15th to be considered!
