Park Master Plan

NHRPD has completed the process of developing the District's new ten-year Parks and Recreation Facilities Master Plan. This Master Plan will serve as a road map for providing high quality parks and recreation facilities and programs for residents and visitors to the North Highlands Recreation and Park District. District staff will spend the next year identifying how to achieve recommendations in the Park Master Plan. You can find the report here: https://www.nhrpd.org/files/fcf803ad1/Final+Park+Master+Plan.pdf

North Highlands Narrative

North Highlands Narrative is a citizen award program sponsored by the North Highlands Recreation and Park District. Its purpose is to shine light on our everyday citizens and local organizations that make a positive impact within the community through acts of service or events.

On a quarterly basis awards are given to citizens or community groups residing within NHRPD’s District for their outstanding contributions to the community. Please consider taking the time to recognize and nominate an individual or group whose contributions make North Highlands a better place to live.

Do you know someone that should be nominated? Submit your nomination by April 15th to be considered!
