Community News

Paint the Parks Wins its Fourth Award!

PTP receievd its fourth and final award this spring from the California Parks and Recreation Society for Innovation. This initiative has sparked changed in our community and it is all thanks to our volunteers, donors and sponsors who decideced to pick up a paint brush and help us make our parks better and brighter. If you are looking to pick up a brush and help with our last few projects, click here.

If you would like to celebrate this win, please join us at the June 11th Board Meeting where we will have an award presentation from a CPRS representative!

May contain: adult, female, person, woman, advertisement, poster, accessories, jewelry, necklace, ring, fashion, and wristwatch

We Want Your Feedback - Dog Park at Freedom Park!

North Highlands Recreation & Park District is exploring the potential for a future dog park in our community. At this time, we are conducting research only to better understand interest, needs, and preferences from residents.

This survey is intended to gather feedback and assess community support. It does not represent an approved project, funded plan, or confirmed development. Your input will help guide future discussions and determine whether pursuing a dog park is something the community would like us to explore further.

We appreciate you taking a few minutes to share your thoughts and help us make informed decisions for North Highlands!
