North Highlands Optimist Club Honors Local Kids, Cops, and Firefighters!

North Highlands Optimist Club with Co-Sponsor North Highlands Recreation & Park District will be sponsoring Kids, Cops, Firefighters, & Etc. An event to familiarize children with the persons they would be most likely to need in an emergency. It is our belief that meeting these people in a non-emergency setting will reduce the stress during a real emergency. Skip the evening madness of haunted houses and trick-or-treating, and celebrate a fun, safe Halloween with NHRPD! The Halloween Extravaganza will be a costume parade, as well as Halloween-themed activities, bounce houses and more! Come and enjoy candy, games and Halloween festivities. Show off your costume and you could win a prize!

Breakfast with Santa

Santa Claus is coming to the town and he wants to have breakfast with you! Come get into the holiday spirit with NHRPD’s Breakfast with Santa event. For a small donation towards the North Highlands Optimist Club, participants will receive a full breakfast with a variety of hot and cold beverages. There will be children’s activities, and everyone will have the opportunity to take a picture with Santa. Season’s greetings!
