Cancelled for Summer 2020 due to COVID-19
Take the plunge this summer and enroll in swim lessons. Learn the basics of swimming, stroke progressions and get comfortable in the water. Classes taught by qualified swim instructors. Class sizes are limited to ensure quality instruction and safety. Each two week sessions contains eight – 25 minute classes.
Level 1 (Guppy) – Learn to float on your front and
back, blow bubbles, be assisted in front and back crawl and end the day with a
big jump in the pool.
Level 2 (Otter) – Gain confidence swimming unassisted on your front and back, streamline kicks and jumping in the pool.
Level 3 (Turtle) – Show off your techniques with freestyle, backstroke and learn new skills with dolphin kicks and breaststroke arms. Transform your jump into a dive.
Level 4 (Dolphin) – Students learn how to properly jump, dive, and retrieve an item from underwater. Students will continue to gain confidence as they practice the fundamental skills of different swim strokes. At the conclusion of this course, students will be able to swim one length of the swimming pool without assistance.
