In September, NHRPD Recreation staff recommended to the District Board to lower the registration fees for the swim team in order to help provide some financial relief to our swim team families. On October 11th, theNorth Highlands Recreation and Park District Board of Directors voted unanimously to approve the lowering of fees. The swim team is a family and we are happy to help support one another.
This recreational swim team competes with other local teams during the summer
and practices daily. Participants must be able to swim at least 25 yards and not
be afraid of the water. There are many social activities held in conjunction
with the team and it’s a great way to spend your summer and meet new people. The
team will be coached this season by Travis Bill. Additional information about
the team can be found on the club’s website at
