Strizek Park & Clubhouse:

Welcome to Aladin’s Palace! Located at 3829 Stephen Drive (2 blocks east of the Highlands Sports Complex) Strizek Park, and all of its 5 acres, offers a play theme at this playground with many different pieces of play apparatus, so come with your imagination to play in Aladin’s Palace. Age appropriate for 5-11 years and ADA accessible, there are many challenges and fun things to do in this playground. In addition to climbing, and sliding, and rolling and many other activities, swings and a sand play area are also available.

While at Strizek bring your picnic lunch or plan on a bbq. One of the District’s most mature parks the heavily umbrelled trees offer plenty of shade for your picnic, or afternoon get-together. A small clubhouse in the park houses a local preschool program. This park has it’s own parking lot for off street parking. There is also a large open soccer field for plenty of running around. In 1955 the North Highlands Improvement Association granted to the Park District this property which became known as Strizek Park. It was also the first Park in the District.
