Located at the corner of Airbase Drive and Watt
Avenue, this one-acre greenbelt is the entryway into North
Highlands. It contains a “Welcome to North Highlands Community
sign as well as flowers, shade trees and benches to rest. This
is also the location of 2 bus stops on the RT line. This park
was named after Ruth Inman a long time North Highlands
resident who was actively involved in the Garden Club, the
planting of trees up and down Watt Avenue and the overall
beautification of North Highlands. It is the Garden Club who
regularly plant bedding plants in the small bedding area and
who maintain the adjacent rose
garden.
