The Sports
Complex at Pacific High School:
Located at 3701 Stephen Drive (south of Bolivar by Don
Julio Blvd), this 12 acre complex is jointly shared with
Pacific High School and Campos Verdes Magnet School. This is
one of the most heavily utilized facilities in the District,
and once you see it you’ll know why. At this site is a large
gymnasium used for many of the District’s youth and adult
sport programs (refer to the youth
and adult
sport program section for specific program information).
The community swimming pool is next to the gym. This
pool services the residents of North Highlands. Please refer
to the aquatic program section for more information
on our swimming programs and summer activities. Adjacent to
the pool are restrooms and showers as well as a concession in
operation during the summer and for special weekend events
throughout the year. The Highlands Sports Complex is also home
to the largest adult flag football program in northern
California. Games are played on the large athletic fields that
also contain 2 softball fields.
These facilities are all available for private rental.
Refer to the Rental Information section on our Parks and
Facilities page for prices and rental information on all our
facilities. The property is owned by the Grant Joint Union
High School District. The Park District has a long term use
agreement that allows them use of these facilities in exchange
for maintenance and upkeep. Costs of improvements are shared,
through a very creative Joint Use Agreement both
Districts. Ultimately, the community benefits from the
shared use, operation and maintenance of this site.
