Located on the corner of Karl Drive and Rosario
Boulevard, this 2.5 acre park is nestled away in a very
established neighborhood surrounded with tall, mature trees.
There is a open turfed play area, with a new covered shade
structure and picnic table. Next to this is the half
basketball court, another picnic area with bbq and the
playground. The playground is brand new and appropriate for
5-11 year olds. It is ADA accessible. Children can
climb, swing, slide and run around. This is also a historic
park dating back to WWII. The concrete wall, that runs along
the back of the park, was constructed for the firing range
built for Camp Kohler. Prior to the construction of all the
homes in the area, this was a training area. The County of
Sacramento gave this property to the Park District in
1958.
