Stay cool while enjoying a fun work out!

We are please to offer this fun and exciting adult program. Get in shape while having fun. This low impact water work out focuses on the entire body and will help build strength, endurance and tone muscles.

Opening Day Celebration

Our community pool will open to the public on May 26th, 2008. Come on out and join the fun as we kick off our summer season! The first 50 people through our gates will receive free admission, all others pay $2.00. Free popsicles while supplies last! Don’t forget to purchase a pool pass and save $$$!

Summer Swim Lessons
(There will be no mass registration)

Take the plunge this summer by participating in our learn to swim program. Qualified Red Cross Instructors and Aides assist students in learning to swim in a safe environment. Class sizes are limited to ensure quality instruction. Each two week session contains eight – 25 minutes classes. All lessons will be conducted at the Highlands Pool.

Registration will be accepted beginning April 28th for Sessions I, II, III and IV, V, VI and adults and will continue until classes are filled. Registration is accepted Monday thru Friday, 9:00am – 4:00pm at the District Office, 6040 Watt Avenue. Registration is on a first come, first served basis. NHRPD accepts cash, check, Visa and Mastercard. No mailed, faxed or phone in registration will be accepted. For those children who have taken North Highlands swim lessons level I through IV it is suggested that you enroll your child in the Highlander Dolphin Swim Team.

Pool Punch Card

Save $17.00 by purchasing this punch card. Use it for yourself, family or friends. Enjoy 31 visits for $45.00. Purchase your punch card at the District Office, 6040 Watt Avenue, Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 4:00pm.

Pool Rental

Celebrate a birthday, graduation, family reunion or business function. Our pool is available for rent for private parties and functions during non-programmed hours, beginning June 6th, 2008. Call 332-7440 for prices and availability.

Recreational Public Swim

Plunge into FUN this summer season! Drive into our cool pool Monday through Saturday beginning May 26th, 2008. Visit the Snack Shack for cold drinks, frosty treats and tasty snacks.

Family Nights

Hot Nights, Cool Pool! Bring your family and enjoy the evening at our pool. 

Highlander Dolphin Swim Team

This recreational swim team competes with other teams during the summer and practices daily. Participants must be able to swim at least 25 yards and not be afraid of the water. There are many social activities held in conjunction with the team and it is a great way t spend your summer and meet new people. Team registrations will be accepted beginning April 1st, 2008 at NHRPD District Office, 6040 Watt Avenue. Registration is accepted Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm.

A MANDATORY parent meeting will be held on April 17th, 2008 at 6:00pm.
