Youth Volleyball Camp (Grades 4-8)
This program is designed to be an instructional
introduction to the fundamentals of volleyball.
Participants will meet weekly and practice volleyball
skills and then have a chance to apply what they have
learned under game conditions. Participants will receive
a program t-shirt.
Program Dates: March 20 - April 24

Pee Wee Basketball (Grades K-1)
Pee Wee Basketball is designed to be a non-competitive introduction to the fundamentals, rules and structure of basketball. This program is made up of six sessions, each lasting 90 minutes. Participants will practice a new skill each week, then apply what they have learned in a scrimmage game.

Youth Basketball League (Grades 2-6)
This program is designed to be a lightly competitive recreational league for boys and girls. Each and every player will learn the fundamentals of basketball as well as sportsmanship and teamwork.
Program Dates: April 2 - May 19
Days:
- Practice: Monday through Friday (TBA) one day per week.
Practice begins the week of April 2nd- Games: Saturdays beginning April 14th

Junior High Basketball League (Grades 7-8)
This program is designed to be a semi-competitive recreational league for boys and girls. Players will learn the fundamentals of basketball as well as sportsmanship and teamwork.
Program Dates: April 2 - May 19
Registration Deadline is March 29, 2012. A mandatory Parents Meeting will be held March 29, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. in the Community Center.

Youth Cheerleading (Grades K-6)
This program is an excellent introduction to cheerleading for the inexperienced and has something to offer those who have cheered before. Gain self confidence as you learn cheer fundamentals and dance along with teamwork.

Camp Kick It! (Grades K-6)
Join us for this new soccer program that teaches kids the basics of playing indoor soccer! Camp Kick It will teach each player the fundamentals of passing, shooting, and focus on improving footwork. Each participant will receive a program t-shirt.

MVP Kids (Ages 4 to 7)
Introducing North Highlands exciting new program, MVP KIDS! Every week we will introduce and play a different sport including basketball, soccer, volleyball, football, t-ball, and kickball. Each class will provide your young athlete the opportunity to play sports in a fun and positive learning environment. Players will have a blast developing their skills and learning how to play each sport.
Program Dates: June 16 - July 21

Late Night North Highlands
Teens ages 12-18 can join us each Friday night at the Highlands Sports Complex. This program is designed with the intent of teaching and equipping the youth in the community with a variety of life skills, life lessons, and practical applications for use. A variety of activities will be offered including sports and games. Participants will be under the constant supervision of District Staff and the Twin Rivers Police Department.

Police and Rescue Personnel
An emergency can be a scary
situation for a child. Bring your children out to this event on September 22, 2012, where they can meet fire fighters, police and rescue
personnel up close and here about the work they do. Food and
refreshments will be available for purchase.
